CK’s Most Adorable
Munchkins Photo Contest 2014/2015
1. A $5.00 entry fee
must be submitted at the time of submitting your entry.
2. Only 1 photo may
be entered at a time. If there is more than 1 child in the photo you are
submitting, you must clearly identify all children you are entering into the
contest.
3. The deadline for
entering this contest is October 27th, 2012 at 11:59pm.
4. Eligibility:
▪ Child(ren) must be 12 years of age or under before
the entry deadline of October 27th
▪ Photo must be a current photo (within 6 months)
▪ More than 1 child can be featured in this photo
▪ All children must be residents of Chatham-Kent
▪ Location must be within the boundaries of
Chatham-Kent
5. Professional
photography will only accepted if you have permission from the photographer due
to copyright issues so you MAY NOT enter a photo taken by a ‘professional’ who
took it for you. Since there are no official credentials a ‘photographer’,
anyone can enter their own photo that they themselves have taken, even if you
provide photography for others. It MUST be your own original work or the
photographer must also give their permission and their name must be included on
your entry.

7. You can enter as
many children as you would like.
8. Photographs/CDs
will not be returned
9. Photograph must
have been taken within 6 months of the entry deadline
10. VOTING: Viewers
may only vote once per photo however they may vote for as many entries as they
would like.
11. Contest will be
conducted by the following process:
STEP 1 October 6th, 2014 @
Noon (12pm): Official Launch! Enter your munchkin(s) by filling out our Entry
Form on our website. Enter online or print out a form (from our Facebook group)
and mail it in!
STEP 2 October 27th, 2014 @
11:59pm: Entry Deadline
STEP 3 October 28th @ Noon
(12pm), 2014: All Entries are showcased on our Facebook Group and voting
begins! Encourage all your family &
friends to vote by commenting ‘VOTE’ under your Munchkin’s photo or by mailing
in a ballot (which can be downloaded via our Facebook group).
STEP 4 November 14th@
11:59pm: Voting Closes
STEP 5 First week in
December: TOP 30 REVEALED in the 2014/2015 Winter issue of CK Child! The 30
entries that receive the most votes will be announced as our TOP 30 and will be
featured in the centre spread of this Winter issue.
The
Top 30 Munchkins will also later be showcased on our CK’s Most Adorable
Munchkins Facebook Group. We know that December is a busy month so we will be
laying low for this month and having a couple giveaways for those participating
(entrants, voters, etc). Entrants can now
STEP 6 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Starting January 5th we will be opening up comments for anyone who wants to
support the TOP 30 Munchkins.
The
judges on our Judging panel will decide from the 30 Munchkins chosen by our Facebook
viewers who the Grand Prize Winner will be! But for now, our viewers have the
chance to convince our judges which entries should now moved into the TOP 10.
Viewers can now post on Facebook why they feel their favourite entry should
make it into the finals!
STEP 7 February 2nd @
midnight: Comments are now closed
STEP 8 February 9th @ noon:
The TOP 10 is revealed ONLINE (Facebook). Comments are once again opened
STEP 9 WINNER REVEALED! The
Grand Prize winner will have their photo featured on the cover of the Spring
2013 issue of CK Child which will available at the beginning of March!
Our
runners up will also be revealed in the inside spread of this issue.12. CK Child and judges will not be eligible to
participate in this contest.
13. THE CLIENT hereby
assigns and grants “CK’s Most Adorable Munchkins” and its legal representatives
the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of THE
CLIENT or in which THE CLIENT may be included, for editorial, trade,
advertising or any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the
same without restriction; and to copyright the same. THE CLIENT hereby releases
“Most Adorable Munchkins” and its legal representatives and assigns from all
claims and liability relating to said photographs. It is agreed that “Most
Adorable Munchkins” may display and use the photographs taken for advertising,
display, website and internet promotion, photographic contests, public display
such as in malls, photography books, photography instructional books, store
fronts, window displays, studio display, television advertising, magazine
advertising and any other purpose thought proper by “Most Adorable Munchkins”.

conditions are subject to change.
CK's Most Adorable Munchkins Photo Contest is back for our 2014/2015 Contest!
This year YOU will be the cover photographer again. We want YOU to shoot a photo for our 2015 Spring cover of CK Child. So get your cameras out, get your munchkin(s) fabbed up with a fabulous Spring wardrobe and stage a 'spring-themed' set that you think would be perfect for our next spring cover!
Where Do I Start? What will work?
Well...anywhere and anything! There really are minimal rules for what the cover should be. It must feature local children at a location within the boundaries of Chatham-Kent, it must be your own original photograph, it must have a 'Spring' feel and it must be a current photo. Other than that, be as creative as you'd like! It can be a simple photo of your favourite munchkins partaking in a favourite Spring-type activity or you can set up an extravagant set design with props. It will be a little trickier at this time of the year since the air is becoming cooler and crisper but that's all part of the fun!
Have the perfect photo from this past Spring? That works too! Your photo must be from the past 12 months (October 2013 - October 2014)Monday, January 14, 2013
